If you’re a football fan who loves plenty of goals and highlights, then this was the AFLW game for you.

End-to-end football and attractive passages of play were the order of the day, and you could even argue that the contest between the Blues and Bulldogs was the most skillful match of the season.

And if the big marks, electric runs and incredible goals weren’t enough for you, the result went right down to the wire.

Though the Blues held a comfortable 25-point lead early in the final quarter, the Bulldogs were desperate to get back to winning ways, having lost the past three games after claiming victory in the opening round.

In the space of five minutes, the Dogs kicked three goals to get the margin down to just a single kick, but were unable to level the scores despite their relentless forward pressure.
