If you think a fourth versus fifth battle couldn’t get any bigger, the coaches of Melbourne University and St Kilda just raised the stakes for our VFL Women’s Match of the Day on RSN Carnival.
After being a late scratching last week, Collingwood’s Moana Hope will make her debut for the Mugars against her old side, the St Kilda Sharks.
Then, just for added drama, the Sharks have named Carlton’s Tayla Harris to make her VFLW debut for them!
If the occasion couldn’t be any more tense, a loss could put the loser outside of the top four, with an emerging Geelong Cats also breathing down their neck.
Live from 1:00pm (AEST) at Main Oval, Melbourne University, the Girls Play Footy Radio team will be presenting a one hour pre-game show, including a preview of EDFL/WRFL, Northern Country, and AFL Goldfields women’s competitions, plus the call of the game from the first bounce at 2:00pm.
To listen to the match in Melbourne, switch to RSN Carnival on your digital radio; otherwise listen via the live stream provided below, or download the RSN Racing and Sport app from iTunes or Google Play and click on Carnival.
Those attending the game are encouraged to bring their radio so they can hear the call delay free on 89.1 FM.
Today’s other VFLW matches include Geelong hosting Cranbourne at Osborne Park from 12pm, the Eastern Devils hosting Diamond Creek in the Casey Radio match of the day from 2pm, and the VFL website video stream match is the bottom of the table clash between Box Hill and Seaford from 3pm.
