Round 10 of the Swisse Wellness VFL Women’s competition continues today, with three evenly matched games, including a cracking contest for our RSN Carnival broadcast match.
It’s first versus third when Diamond Creek hosts the St Kilda Sharks, and both sides will be looking to pick up a crucial win that could secure them the double chance.
The Creekers are packing talent such as Collingwood captain Stephanie Chiocci, Carlton ruck Alison Downie, TAC Cup best and fairest Chloe Molloy, and potential draftees in Sophie Abbatangelo and Ashleigh Riddell.
They sit first with just the one loss, but that was earlier in the season to today’s opponents.
St Kilda comes into the game with Carlton’s Brianna Davey in red-hot form, GWS Giants’ Phoebe McWilliams having an impact up forward, new recruit (and former Lion) Tayla Harris slotting in nicely, as well as ruck Jenna Colwell and small forward Jenna Bruton both showing AFLW potential.
Live from 1:00pm (AEST) at Plenty War Memorial Park, the Girls Play Footy Radio team will be presenting a one hour pre-game show, including a preview of EDFL/WRFL, Northern Country, and AFL Goldfields women’s competitions, plus the call of the game from the first bounce at 2:00pm.
To listen to the match in Melbourne, switch to RSN Carnival on your digital radio; otherwise listen via the live stream provided below, or download the RSN Racing and Sport app from iTunes or Google Play and click on Carnival.

Today’s other VFLW matches include the Box Hill Hawks taking on the Cranbourne Eagles, while the VFL website video stream match from 2pm is the Eastern Devils versus Melbourne University at Mt Waverley Reserve.
