Our round eight Match of the Day on RSN Carnival simply couldn’t be any bigger: first versus second, Diamond Creek against Melbourne Uni.
Then, just to add further spice to match, it will also be the first game that Moana Hope plays for the Mugars since transferring mid-season from the St Kilda Sharks.
Live from 1:00pm (AEST) at Plenty War Memorial Park, the Girls Play Footy Radio team will be presenting a one hour pre-game show, including a preview of the VAFA, Northern, Eastern and South East Women’s leagues, plus the call of the game from the first bounce at 2:00pm.
It will be our first call of the Creekers for 2017 with heaps of stars to watch, included TAC Cup Girls’ joint best and fairest Chloe Molloy, new Carlton rookie Kerryn Harrington, Irish Banshees’ Clara Fitzpatrick and the exciting Sophie Abbatangelo.
The winner of this match will take outright first position on the ladder, at a critical stage of the season when the finals contenders start to break away from the pack.
To listen to the match in Melbourne, switch to RSN Carnival on your digital radio; otherwise listen via the live stream provided below, or download the RSN Racing and Sport app from iTunes or Google Play and click on Carnival.
Those attending the game are encouraged to bring their radio so they can hear the call delay free on 89.1 FM.
Today’s other VFLW matches sees Cranbourne host Darebin at Casey Fields, in the VFL video stream match beginning at 11am, while Geelong travel to R.F. Miles Reserve to face the Tigerettes at 2pm.
