Brisbane Lions holding two talent search days

The 2017 AFLW minor premiers, the Brisbane Lions, are calling for nominations for their Rookie and Talent Search days to be held next month.

A significant number of women are anticipated to nominate, after 500 emailed an interest to try out with the Western Bulldogs, and more than 400 to try out with the Demons in June.

Participants will be measured by 20m sprints, vertical jump, beep test, agility, kicking, marking, handballing and their ability to compete.

To apply for the Rookie Search, applicants must fill out the form accessible by clicking this link by 5pm, Tuesday, August 1.

The Talent Search will be on Wednesday evening, August 30, at Coorparoo, and is open to those currently playing football, or have played in the last three years.
