Round two of the VFL Women’s competition gets underway with a first, as Girls Play Footy Radio’s match of the day is simulcast on digital radio in Melbourne through RSN Carnival.
Live from 12:00pm (AEST) at Shell Road Reserve in Ocean Grove, the GPF Radio team will be presenting a one hour pre-game show, followed by the call of the Geelong vs Seaford match from the first bounce at 1:00pm.
The Cats made an impact in round one, crushing fellow debutantes Box Hill by 56 points at Simmonds Stadium, while the Tigerettes will be looking for redemption after being swept away by Diamond Creek last week.
There will be plenty of AFLW talent on show, with the likes of Lily Mithen, Maddie Boyd and Kate Darby running out for the Cats, while Kate Gillespie-Jones, Georgia Walker and Sarah Hosking are set to star for Seaford.
To listen to the match in Melbourne, switch to RSN Carnival on your digital radio. Otherwise listen via the live stream provided below, or download the RSN Racing and Sport app from iTunes or Google Play and click on Carnival.

Today’s other VFLW match is between the Darebin Falcons and Eastern Devils at Bill Lawry Oval in Northcote. It’s Meg Hutchins’ 200th game and the VFL website will be live streaming the match from 2:00pm.
